Differences Between a Domain Name and a Website
It's easy to think a domain name and a website are the same. While they are closely connected, they are very different things.
A domain name, is the property address you lease; a website, on the other hand, is the physical building that is your house and where you place your furniture (your website content).
A website is a collection of web pages on the Internet, that lives on a certain domain name.
