Business Email FAQ:
1. Business Email activation:
Please "Submit a Ticket" from NiceNIC.NET's homepage to confirm your business Email order, then our IDC team will prepare the Email accounts as per your requirements and if your domain name is with our registrar, we will help you create the DNS records to save your time. Then we will send you the following information by replying your ticket:
Webmail URL: https://c3.icoremail.net
Admin account: admin@**********
Admin password: **********
If your domain name is not with our registrar, and/or we are not your nameserver provider, please create the following DNS records yourself:
Point the CNAME records of mail, imap, pop3, and smtp to: c3.icoremail.net
Set the MX record of your domain name to mx.c3.icoremail.net. Priority 5
Set the MX record of your domain name to mx2.c3.icoremail.net. Priority 10
Point the TXT record of your domain name to: v=spf1 include:spf.icoremail.net -all"
2. Issue on sending and receiving Emails:
lease contact us by "Submit a Ticket" from NiceNIC.NET's homepage, then we will check your MX records. If we can't locate the reason, we will request you to provide us with a test Email account so that we can further make investigation and testing.
3. Unable to connect via Email client via IMAP or SMTP:
When adding an email address in your Email client, i.e. iPhone, please firstly ensure you would fill in "c3.icoremail.net" for both the SMTP and IMAP email server. And secondly, please generate a password for the Email client separately by the following way:
Log in to your email account via "https://c3.icoremail.net/", select "Settings" in the left navigation bar, then choose "Generate Specific Password".
4. How to change the current admin email name:
Sorry, the admin Email name/account can't be changed, thank you for your understanding.
5. Can't access to admin Email account:
#1 The first solution:
If the password that you entered for the admin Email address is wrong, please try again with the correct admin password. If you think the password that you entered for the admin Email address is correct, please contact us by "Submit a Ticket" including a test Email account, then we will arrange a testing from our end.
#2 The second solution:
You can reset the password for the admin Email address through https://c3.icoremail.net/coremail/changepwd.jsp, but the prerequisite is that you have set up a backup email address in advance to receive the password reset Email.
